Career
Born in a music-rich family, Mohan Vaithya is professionally learned to play Violin with the guidance of Radha Sundaresan. Apart from Violin he also started training his vocals with various teachers.
He was well training in singing and worked with many artists in drama and stage shows in his early days. In the 1990’s he moved to Chennai from Delhi and got an opportunity to host the popular television quiz show ‘Ragam Sangeetham‘ on Raj TV.
Mohan acted in Tamil movies including Sethu, Parasuram, and Anniyan in a small character role. He was appointed as judge of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge television show for a season.

In 2019, Vaithya entered Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 along with 15 other contestants. He came to the limelight after involving in lots of controversy with other housemates. He survived for 28 days inside the big boss’s house before getting evicted.
After Bigg Boss, Mohan Vaithya made his appearance in the brand new cooking show Cook with Comali season 1 (2019). The show was a massive success for its comedy and fun act. However, Mohan has failed to reach the finals of the show.
In 2022, Mohan Vaithya was featured in Bharathidasan Colony serial to play the role name, Krishnan. He essays the character of lead actress Aishwarya Ramsai’s father.
