Sharwanand debuted his acting career with the film Aidho Tareekhu released in the year 2004. He then appeared in a cameo role for the film Shankar Dada M.B.B.S. starring Venkatesh in the lead role.
He then acted in many films including Vennela, Gamyam, and Prasthanam. All these films were underrated and have acquired lots of positive reviews among critics. He then debuted in the Kollywood Industry with the film Kadhalna Summa Illai.
This film doesn’t go well among the audience. His second Kollywood film was Naalai Namadhe released in the year 2009. This film also doesn’t goes well among the audience. His third film Engeyum Eppodhum released in the year 2011 was a tremendous success.
