How do you register for SBI Mobile Banking Services?
Mentioned below are the different ways to register for SBI Mobile Banking:

Via SMS:
Step 1: Send an SMS “MBSREG” to 9223440000/9223567676.
Step 2: An SMS will then be received containing the User ID and MPIN on the registered mobile number.

By Visiting SBI ATM:
Step 1: You should first visit your nearest SBI ATM.
Step 2: Tap on “Mobile Registration”.
Step 3: Provide the mobile number registered with the bank.
Step 4: An SMS will be received to confirm registration.
Step 5: SBI mobile banking is now available.

By Visiting Branch:
Step 1: Visit the home branch of SBI.
Step 2: Fill out the SBI mobile banking registration form.
Step 3: Now, submit the filled-up form to get approval.

Via Mobile App:
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your smartphone.
Step 2: Download “SBI Yono App” or “YONO Lite SBI”.
Step 3: A login screen can then be seen after downloading the app.
Step 4: At the end of the screen, click on the option “Existing customer”.
Step 5: Complete the 3-step registration process and then click continue.
- Set the User ID and password to get the Reference number.
- Visit the branch to get your User ID and password activated.
- Explore YONO.
Step 6: Under the option “Account Details”, enter your bank account number along with the date of birth.
Step 7: The home branch address will then be displayed on the screen. You can visit the same or any other branch to get the services activated,
Step 8: Click on ‘Next” to continue.
Step 9: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Step 10: Review the customer details.
Step 11: Choose the Transaction Rights depending on the type of transaction rights required from the options provided. The options are as follows:
- View rights
- Limited rights
- Full rights
Step 12: Enter the User name that you desire to set to check whether the same is available or not.
Step 13: Enter the temporary password twice, and then click “Confirm”.
Step 14: A reference number will then appear on the screen.
Step 15: Now, visit the chosen branch within the next 7 days of activating the username.
Step 16: An activation code will be received on the mobile number registered with the bank and email address once the username is approved by the bank.
Step 17: Now, open the Yono app and tick the option “I have Activation Code”.
Step 18: Provide the username and password along with the activation code and referral code (optional).
Step 19: The registration process will then be completed.
Step 20: On clicking the option “Go to Yono home”, you will be asked to change the password.
Step 21: Enter the desired new password twice. Click on “Change Password”.
Step 22: Set a 6-digit MPIN.
Step 23: Provide the acknowledgement of acceptance of the terms and conditions and then click “Next”.
Step 24: Set a permanent 6-digit MPIN.
Step 25: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to proceed further. Click “Next”.
Step 26: The registration process is now completed.
How do you log in to SBI Mobile banking?

Step 1: Launch SBI YONO or YONO Lite on your smartphone.
Step 2: Log in to the app using the 6-digit MPIN that has been set up at the time of registration.
