A direct invitation to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021 grand finals have been announced by Tencent in an email today. A team from India to participate in the global finals of PUBG Mobile which was confirmed by Krafton earlier.
Krafton confirmed BGIS winners to participate in PMGC 2021 Finals
PMGC grand finals will be held from January 21 to 23, 2017. Additionally, it will include the top nine and six squads from the current PMGC league finals in the east and west, respectively, in addition to the Indian invitation. The world league finals will be held from January 22 to 24.
Sixteen teams will battle for the world champion title in the PMGC 2021 grand finals after the BGIS winner. Tencent’s head of esports earlier said that the finals of the PMGC will be held as a “semi-LAN” event, which is what the tournament would be held as. A few teams will be flown out to a new site to eliminate the ping gap.

Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official tournament, BGIS, has been running since the game’s July release. The game is a rebranded version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned due to worries over data privacy. The game was renamed Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) by Krafton.
The BGIS online qualifying rounds are still going on. Top teams will advance to the $131,000 event’s 16-team finals after the quarterfinals and semifinals. On January 13 to 16, teams of four will compete in a total of 20 matches to determine who will attend the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC).
Fans from India are excited about the PMGC tournament. Interestingly, this will be the first time an Indian team represents the game at the highest level. Some of the top teams, including GodLike Esports, Team Xspark, Soul, Orange Rocks, are eyeing to win the BGIS tournament to make their way to PMGC Grand Finals.
