Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming Bollywood movie Bachchan Pandey has confirmed the theatrical release date. The movie is all set to release on 18th March 2022 during the festival of Holi.
Bachchan Pandey will be the first big release of Bollywood in the year 2022. After lots of restrictions across India due to Covid-19, the makers of the film were keen to release it in the theatre.
Actor Akshay Kumar officially posted a tweet on his social media handle by confirming the release date of Bachchan Pandey along with the two new posters.
The film was directed by Farhad Samjia and the cast includes Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Snehal Daabbi. Touted to an action entertainer, Akshay Kumar starter expected to do well in the box office.

According to some reports, Bachchan Pandey is adopted of super hit Tamil movie ‘Jigardhanda’. However, there is no official confirmation from the production house or the director of the movie.
After the second wave of Covid-19 in 2021, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was one of the first actors to premiere his movie Bell Bottom in theatres. He will return to theatres in 2022. As Covid-19 instances spiked early in the year, numerous films including RRR and Jersey had to delay their release dates. However, Akshay has declared that his forthcoming flick Bachchan Pandey will hit theatres in March.

Sooryavanshi, Akshay’s 2021 smash, was hailed by several trade experts as the picture that resurrected the moviegoing public. In India, the film took in Rs 196 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.
