Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas and American singer Nick Jonas have become parents through surrogacy. Priyanka and her husband Nick gave this information through Instagram on Friday. Priyanka told that her child was born on January 15 through surrogacy.
The couple said in a statement that they are extremely happy to confirm that a child has been born in their home through a ‘surrogate’ (a woman carrying another’s children in her womb). She did not reveal the name or gender of her child and requested that “their privacy be protected at this special time”. Priyanka and Nick got married in India in 2018.

On the question of becoming a mother, Priyanka Chopra had said many times that if the right time comes, it will definitely happen. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, when asked about starting a family with Nick, Priyanka had said, “You know, you want to make God laugh and tell him your plans and I am not the one who makes those plans, but yes of course, whenever the right time comes, we would definitely like to do so.
